The CMPI database includes over 37,000 entries on music articles dating from the late-19th century to the present day. 630 Canadian music journals, newsletters and magazines are represented here, almost 200 of which are currently active and continue to be indexed.
- Classical Music Library
Classical Music Library is a fully searchable classical music database of tens of thousands of licensed recordings that users can listen to over the Internet. The audio selections are cross-referenced to a database of supplementary reference information. Users browse, search, click, and then listen to the music through their headphones. Included is music from Medieval to contemporary, from choral works to symphonies, operas, and the avant-garde.
- IIMP Full Text (International Index to Music Periodicals)
IIMP Full Text provides indexing and abstracts for music periodicals, covering both scholarly journals and popular magazines.
JSTOR provides searchable full-text access to backfiles of core scholarly journals in many fields including African American Studies, Anthropology, Asian Studies, Ecology, Economics, Education, Finance, History, Language & Literature, Music, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Population Studies, Sociology, and Statistics. There is a gap, usually from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the content available in JSTOR.
Since its official launch in May 2008, www.medici.tv has gained international recognition, bringing together a community of music and arts lovers. Building on the success of webcasts from the Verbier Festival in 2007, www.medici.tv has since offered high-definition webcasts from many other leading festivals, including Aix-en-Provence, Saint-Denis, Aspen, Glyndebourne, and Lucerne, as well as from such music venues as the Opéra National de Paris, Auditorium du Louvre, Cité de la Musique, and Salle Pleyel in Paris, and Milan's famed La Scala. Many operas and concerts performed by the world's top-flight artists and orchestras have been webcast both as live events and later as video-on-demand (VOD).

Naxos Music Library is the most comprehensive collection of classical music available online. The recordings in Naxos Music Library include the complete catalogues of BIS, Chandos, Hänssler, Hungaroton, Marco Polo, Naxos, Ondine and selected titles of other leading independent labels, containing thousands of CDs and tracks of music in an ever growing collection. Naxos includes classical music, jazz, world, folk and Chinese music.

Met Opera on Demand offers users instant access to full-length Metropolitan Opera performances, including HD videos from the Met’s award-winning Live in HD series of movie theater transmissions, classic telecasts from the 1970s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, and hundreds of radio broadcasts dating back to 1935.

Oxford Music Online covers all aspects of music, including composers, performers, other persons involved with music, terminology, musical genres and forms, orchestras, institutions, and cities and towns with significant musical traditions. This resource includes Oxford Dictionary of Music, Grove Music Online, and the Oxford Companion to Music.

RILM Abstracts provide access to portions of books and international periodical literature. The print version is available in the Music Library reference area (ML 1 I83).
