Washington and Canadian Docs stacks

Western is a depository library for Washington state government publications.  The state government sends WWU hundreds of publications, which the university promises to make available to the public. Western has been a depository since the 1960s and has thousands of federal publications.

Western also has some publications from some local and county governments within the state.

Washington State documents are in the library catalog, and are mostly located in the southeast corner of Haggard Hall 3.

Most government documents circulate.  They can be checked out by anyone with valid identification, not just Western students.
