It is an important goal of Western Libraries to provide efficient access to research materials and services for users with temporary or permanent disabilities.

Retrieval of Materials
Upon request, library staff in all units will assist with the retrieval of books and other materials, and with the use of electronic and other bibliographic resources. Time needed for retrieval will vary depending on staff availability.
Special Assistance
Users requiring other special assistance should check with the staff at the Circulation Services Desk on Haggard 2 or call (360) 650-3084.

Physical Access
The Campus Accessibility Map is offered in online and printable versions. Bus stop and disability parking are located outside of the Haggard Wing of the library.
Entrances and Exits
The Haggard Wing provides push pad entrances and exits.
Elevators
All levels of the main Wilson Library and Haggard Wing are accessible by elevator. The Music Library, located in the Performing Arts Center, can also be accessed by elevator. Users requiring special assistance should check with the staff at the Circulation Desk on Haggard 2.
Restrooms
In the Haggard Wing, accessible restrooms are available on both floors 2 and 3. Accessible restrooms are on floors 1 and 5 in the Wilson Library building.
Service Animals
Service animals are permitted in library facilities.
Study Rooms
Study rooms are located in the Wilson building. These can be reserved for use by individuals and groups, for proctoring exams for students with special needs and for private study. Contact Circulation Services at (360) 650-3084 for more information.
