Audiology: Locating Tests and Measures

Library services, academic resources and citation assistance for students enrolled in the Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) Program.

General Availability

Tests, Instruments, and measurements are often cited in research but can be difficult to locate. Authors tend to publish tests commercially for profit. While complete tests are not easily available and are frequently prohibitively expensive to acquire, sample questions or reviews can sometimes be retrieved.

There are many tests and instruments that are created primarily for research purposes and these are embedded within research sources.

Use the databases listed below to locate tests, instruments, questionnaires, surveys, scales, and other measures.

Databases

Tests and measures used for research purposes are sometimes published in journal articles.  Here are scholarly databases you can use to locate specific tests or more general testing information.
