A free online encyclopedia of state and local history in Washington State. HistoryLink.org is produced by History Ink, a Washington non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation.

This site, which until recently was known as Northwest Digital Archives, offers descriptions of archival and manuscript materials held by member institutions in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, and Utah. This means that if an institution has a collection—whether it’s digitized or not—and has created a description of it, you can find out that they have it and use the available options for getting materials.

The Online Archive of California includes detailed descriptions of primary resource collections housed at contributing libraries, archives and museums throughout California, and also provides access to digital content.

Contact information for the State Government Archives in Olympia, Regional Branches (Bellingham, Cheney, Ellensburg, Olympia and Bellevue) and the Washington State Digital Archives are available from this website.

The Women's History Consortium, created by state statute (RCW 27.34.360) in 2005 as a Washington State Historical Society-led initiative, is dedicated to preserving and making available resources about Washington women's history. The website includes an online Digital Archive and provides links and guides to "women's history" archival collections at partner institutions.
