BookList -- You can limit searches to "books for youth," but need to register (free) to read the whole review.

Horn Book - Reviews of Children's books via Horn Book magazine, 

Kirkus Reviews - You can limit to Children's and Teen books.

Publisher's Weekly

School Library Journal - This site reviews only Children's and Young adult books.

VOYA - Reviews of Children's and Young Adult books from VOYA Magazine.

Award Winners:

Newberry - The John Newbery Medal is a literary award given by the American Library Association to the author of "the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.

Caldecott - The Randolph Caldecott Medal annually recognizes the preceding year's "most distinguished American picture book for children", beginning with 1937 publications.
