Three flavors of ERIC

ERIC [EBSCO]
The Ebsco version allows you to search other education databases at the same time and has more direct access to full text than the other versions of Eric.
ERIC [U.S. Department of Education]
This free government version has less access to the full text of articles, but will still be available to you after graduation. Since this is not a subscription site you also will NOT get the Findit button that helps find access to WWU articles.

ERIC (Proquest)
The Proquest version tends to be good at giving relevant results, but has less direct access to the full text of articles than Ebsco.

ERIC is the best education database for most education research topics. As a Western student, there are a few ways to access ERIC. Each one has slightly different features, but indexes the same sources.
